Tattoo Artists in Jacksonville
The tattoo artists at Mister Tattoo bring decades of combined experience to a single shop on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville. This is not a franchise and not a chain — every artist here chose to be here, and that distinction matters. The work produced at Mister Tattoo reflects individual artists who have spent years building their craft, traveling to develop their skills, and ultimately landing in Jacksonville with something genuine to offer.
Our team covers the full range of tattoo styles — American traditional, Japanese, black and grey, fine line, portrait work, and everything in between. What connects them isn't a house style but a shared commitment to quality and a respect for the craft that shows in every piece that leaves the shop.

The Mister Tattoo Team
What you'll find in the portfolios is not a consistent house aesthetic — it's four distinct artists who have each put in the years to develop real points of view. Travis built his foundation in American traditional, spending years in Charleston before returning to Jacksonville to open the shop. Tim came through the street shop tradition in Fort Walton Beach, then spent nine years at Inksmith and Rogers developing the kind of balance and precision that comes only from volume and time. Zach traveled coast to coast before settling here in 2023, bringing an illustrative sensibility to a traditional base. Julissa is the newest member of the team, an apprentice under Travis, developing at a pace that speaks to the seriousness of her foundation in the fine arts. Jacksonville's tattoo artists are not all the same. The difference between shops shows up in the work.
Finding Your Tattoo Artist in Jacksonville
Looking through portfolios before you come in is the right first step. Each artist's page includes a gallery of their work and their background. Walk-in weekends run every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm, and we can usually take walk-ins during the week too — it just varies by the day and the hour. Appointments are the surest way to get the artist and the time you want. If you have a specific artist in mind, reach out to them directly or let us know when you arrive. Either way, feel free to drop in: if there isn't time to tattoo you today, we'll do a quick consult and get you scheduled. And if you're open to whoever's first available, you'll be in capable hands regardless — every artist at Mister Tattoo is held to the same standard.
